about
Once again another Jam with my friend Siddhartho Poddar, the story behind this track is that one day he came to my house and he started to talk about a particular soundscape in Brighton; “do you know that sound of the wind blowing through the rigging and halyards of the sailboats parked at the seafront belonging to Brighton Sailing Club”.
I replied straight away by playing in my monitors a field recording of that particular soundscape (recorded on the 4th of May 2015 on a very windy day using my binaural mics). I struggled that day to do a clean recording without the interference of the wind blowing in the mics, I remember that I didn’t have any windshield, so I had to position myself in a strategic place.
Nevertheless this same field recording served has background for this jam having in the total about forty minutes that were divided by 3 parts.
